This project implements visual storytelling through typography. I chose the story “The Lion, Jupiter, and the Elephant”. With this tale, I decided to do an accordion fold so the playful and dramatic storyline would reveal itself as the fold opened up. I also used outlined animals and claw marks to represent the lion. Combining serif and sans-serif typefaces to the fable adds a dimensionality that brings this fold and story to life.
